Natalie Arnett

Associate Professor

Highly skilled and trained PhD Chemist with over 15 years of experience in synthesis and characterization of monomers and high performance polymers. My interdisciplinary education focused on all areas of polymer research: synthesis, characterization, and engineering of various polymeric materials for used in fuel cells, reverse osmosis, nanoparticles, and tissue engineering applications. I have a strong educational background in the area of Macromolecular Science and Engineering from Virginia Tech. I am also knowledgeable about the development and engineering of functional polymers primarily polysulfones, polyamides, polyethers, and polyesters along with the operation/analysis of materials by various characterization techniques including but not limited to NMR, FTIR, DSC, TGA, and GPC.
