The Intelligence Community Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Program offers scientists and engineers from a wide variety of disciplines unique opportunities to conduct research in a range of topics relevant to the Intelligence Community.

This award, which is made possible through a NSF-supplement to the national MRSEC Education Directors' Network, will sponsor up to five MRSEC trainees (undergraduate students, graduate students or postdoctoral researchers) to attend and present their research at the 2026 MRS Spring Conference.

The REU program at UChicago's MRSEC offers undergraduates research experience, seminars, training, and networking opportunities in materials science, with potential for publication co-authorship and graduate studies.

The UChicago REU Program offers competitive research opportunities for undergraduates with MRSEC faculty, enhancing their experience while advancing the center's primary research mission.

The Harvard REU program offers undergraduates interdisciplinary research projects, seminars, workshops on technical skills, networking, and presentations, aimed at encouraging graduate studies in STEM fields.
