The North Texas Semiconductor Institute (NTxSI) is pleased to announce the continuation of the NTxSI MS Scholar Program at The University of Texas at Dallas for its second year, beginning in Fall 2027. The program deepens engagement between students and the semiconductor industry through mentorship, professional development, and opportunities to connect with the growing semiconductor ecosystem in North Texas.
This competitive graduate fellowship supports 20 Master’s students pursuing degrees in Materials Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering. Benefits include:
Tuition and stipend support for five semesters, including a summer research opportunity
A Graduate Certificate in Semiconductor Technology
A semiconductor-focused thesis project
Scholars will also gain professional exposure through:
Industry seminars, mentorship, and site visits
Organizers invite universities and colleges across the U.S. to share this opportunity with students who are completing a Bachelor's degree in physical sciences (chemistry, physics) or in an engineering discipline prior to starting this program. The program is open to U.S. citizens and permanent residents applying to the included UT Dallas graduate programs.
