PREM PI Meeting Brings National Network Together

The recent meeting brought together program leaders and NSF staff in Alexandria, Virginia for a day of collaboration, strategy, and shared vision.

Troie Journigan, a postdoc at Purdue University, is researching quantum dynamics in molecules and developing innovative experimental methods to generate entangled biphotons. A former graduate student at the University of Central Florida’s PREM Center, she was recently named the top emerging researcher of 2024 by the Journal of the Optical Society of America B for her study showing how chemically prepared thin films can improve harmonic spectra—an advance that could benefit future attosecond spectroscopy experiments.
