Nazwa Chowdhury, a graduate student in the PREM Center for Intelligent Materials Assembly (CIMA) program at Texas State University, has been selected as a finalist in the university’s 2026 Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition through the People's Choice category in the Gold Group.
The competition challenges graduate students to explain their research to a non-specialist audience in just three minutes, helping them develop skills in communicating complex scientific concepts to the public.
Chowdhury will present her research, titled “Investigating Moiré Potential Modulation in 2D Materials with Kelvin Probe Force Microscopy,” conducted in Yoichi Miyahara's laboratory, at the university final in early November.
