The Texas State University (TXST) PREM Center for Intelligent Materials Assembly (CIMA) hosted the 2025 Conference Across MRSEC and PREM Schools (CAMPS) at the Texas State University campus. The conference included 94 students from more than 30 PREM and MRSECS from all over the nation who participated in:

  • An 'Invited Speaker Series' with 4 faculty and three industry presenters

  • Two 'Rapid Fire Oral Presentation Sessions' which included 38 undergraduate and graduate student oral presenters

  • Two 'Poster Sessions' that included 87 poster presentations

  • A 'Career Panel' and 'Industry Networking Lunch' including faculty and industry representatives

  • A 'tour of the Texas State Shared Research Operations (SRO) and Research Labs' introduced students to the range of equipment available to students for materials characterization. The tour included hands-on demonstrations of scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, among other instruments, and a visit to the nanofabrication clean room.
