Can you create commercial value out of your research?

Please join us for a five-day Workshop from August 19-23 at Brown University that allows you to explore the commercialization of emerging science and technology. The workshop is aimed at PhD students, Post-Doctoral scholars, and junior faculty who are interested in exploring the commercial potential for research being conducted in their own research groups – via an entrepreneurial technology venture or through licensing to an existing company. Work in teams with like-minded researchers from different parts of the world for a week in vibrant Providence, Rhode Island to explore what it takes to commercialize emerging research.

The Workshop is hands-on and interactive. Participants will assess the emerging science and technologies from their own research groups, create product concepts, and evaluate the potential traction in the market (see program details).
